Our day will be filled with information and in the perfect time as we are establishing our preliminary 2014 budgets. The event will broadcast from Inver Hills Community and Technical College out to four Greater Minnesota colleges. The fee for the class is only $50 which includes lunch. Our morning guest speakers from Financial Concepts, Inc and Hitesman and Wold, P.A. will focus on public sector compliance with the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act “ACA”. Attendees will learn more about the implications for small employers, definition and implications of large employers, along with recordkeeping, look-back measurement periods and “Play or Pay” provisions.
After lunch our speaker from Medica will provide information on the new Minnesota Insurance Marketplace “MNSure” law and how thiswill impact both large and small government entities.
Finally, our day will wrap up with Kinney Law Firm discussing the legal aspects of the Affordable Care Act and the Minnesota Exchange.
