The MnGFOA will be hosting the following training on Wednesday November 14th at 9am. The session will be focused on the current status of the United States & Global economies and the impact each has on our investment portfolios as well as the recent election results and the impact that it may have on our portfolios.
The keynote speaker is Andrew Busch from BMO-Harris Bank. Andy is the Global Currency and Public Policy Strategist for BMO Capital Markets’ Investment Banking Division in Chicago. Andy has appeared for the last seven years on CNBC’s The Closing Bell with Maria Bartiromo and on CNBC’s the Kudlow Report. He is a CNBC contributor, and his blog is number one for CNBC.
Andy will speak in the morning and we will follow up his presentation with two panels after lunch to discuss how we should use the information Andy shared. One panel will focus on answering questions for larger portfolios ($50M+), and another panel will focus on smaller portfolios ($5M-$40M).
For the first time ever we are going to be trying a multi-site live broadcast and interactive training program. The main location will be at Inver Hills Community College in Inver Grove Heights, where the keynote speaker will be located as well as each of the panels. In addition, the training will be transmitted to three greater Minnesota locations, with the ability for interactive Q&A from the satellite locations!! These locations are South Central College in Mankato, Central Lakes College in Brainerd, and Lake Superior College in Duluth.
The cost for all this is…….. $50!!!!
