Governmental Accounting Standards (GASB) Statement 75 significantly reformed Other Post-Employment Benefits (OPEB) financial reporting. Public employers must be prepared to implement the new accounting rules, which takes effect in FY 2018. Join your GFOA colleagues to hear Mark Schulte unravel GASB 75 mysteries in this timely discussion as we all begin the preparation of our 2018 Comprehensive Annual Financial Reports.

He keeps up to date on new developments in the pension and retiree medical fields, blogs on national pension issues, and speaks frequently at retirement conferences. Mark is a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (FSA), an Enrolled Actuary (EA), and a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries (MAAA).
