Communicating Financial Data to Non-Financial People
Finance professionals play a pivotal role in planning and decision-making. Providing relevant data, its context, and its analysis guide governmental leaders in effectively fulfilling their civic mission. Session participants will engage in methods and a framework to effectively communicate financial information to their stakeholders.
Benjamin Murray
Benjamin Murray serves as the Vice President for Financial Affairs at Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota where he oversees business operations, human resources, IT, facilities and auxiliary enterprises. Benjamin has a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Saint Mary’s University and a Master’s of Public Affairs from the University of Minnesota’s Humphrey School of Public Affairs. He is also a licensed CPA. Benjamin has 20 years combined experience in non-profit audit, administration and leadership.
