The last year saw unprecedented change in the payments space. Not only did the ACH network allow same-day payments but the Fed’s Faster Payments Task Force completed its work and published a paper outlining what needs to be done in the US to enable real-time payments. What do Governments need to be aware of with Same Day ACH? Where can it be utilized? Some changes are already being sent out for comment to modify Same Day ACH, come find out what they are.
Mr. Fred Laing, II is the President of the Upper Midwest Automated Clearing House Association, or UMACHA. He’s been at UMACHA over 32 years, having been involved in the significant growth of the network at both the regional and national level.
