Same Day ACH Implementation
The Automated Clearing House (ACH) has adopted a new rule to speed ACH payments. Today, most ACH payments between banks are settled next day, but the new rule allows domestic payments under $25,000 to be sent and received on the same business day. Speaker: Gregory Rettinger is currently working as Vice President and Product Manager for U.S. Bank’s Global Treasury Management Services. He is responsible for product strategy and development for ACH Direct File Transmission, ACH Block and Filter, UPIC, ACH Reporting, ACH Data Capture and Cash Concentration.
Greg joined U.S. bank in 1999, and has extensive previous experience in technical support and customer service for a wide variety of Treasury Management applications, specializing in ACH origination software support. He has developed a number of ACH product improvements over the years, as well as provided communication and guidance for important industry changes, such as the International ACH rules changes. He has presented at numerous industry conferences over the past six years, focusing on the movement of B2B payments from paper to electronic. Gregory holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from the University of Minnesota and graduated with Phi Beta Kappa Honors. Gregory is an ACH Accredited Professional.
