The Public Information Request.              How do you respond?  What’s required by law?  What fees can you charge?  What private data cannot be shared?  Corrine Heine, City Attorney for the City of Minnetonka,  will provide a quick overview of data practices and compliance, with an emphasis on issues of interest to finance officers. Topics covered will include requests by claims hunters, Safe at Home, and 2014 legislation.

Prior to joining Minnetonka in 2013, Corrine Heine enjoyed over 20 years of experience in private practice representing cities in the metro area and around Minnesota.  She is a frequent presenter on data practices at workshops and conferences for other city attorneys, city clerks and various groups.

MENU: Open Faced Turkey Sandwich and Salted Caramel Cream Puffs for dessert.

COST: $15.00
